You hate me becuase I'm different You don't like what I stand for So, you call me names like dyke and f*g
I pitty you because you know nothing about me Who I really am What I've had to endure
You just see the outside Not whats going on inside How I think or how I feel
Your blind hate has caused so much pain All the blood that I've lost and tears that I've cried Those scars will never go away
Just watch your back What goes around, Comes around
Because one day you'll be the one who's different And only then will you be able to understand
(kinda inspired by my ex friend who decided to tell my best friend not to hang out with me because I'm a lesbian)

I like to see people use words instead of their fists and weapons in cases like these.
I suggest reading poetry as often as you can by poets you admire. I read Pablo Neruda, Emily Dickinson and T.S. Eliot very often and they inspire me to write, as well as many of the poets here. Reading definitely improves writing even if it's the morning paper!
Good luck to you.
