The night is almost over. The sun is creeping in. The stars she loves are fading, So far from where she's been. It's cold so close to daylight She shivers as she goes. No one cares she's leaving. No one even knows. She's tired from all this running, She's been so far tonight. Her eyes are sore from crying But it will be alright. The bag she holds is heavy, And dawn is drawing near. Soon no night to hide in, They'll surely find her here. A forest by the highway, In bushes out of sight, She rests untill the sun falls And rises in the night.
