The Truth About Love
The truth about love is its not what it seems
Its not all the beauty that you hope and dream
Its a fatal game of acceptance and rejection
With different faces of hate and affection
Love is a thing not to be taken for granted
For you can too easily be supplanted
Love can be harsh no matter the season
It can turn from perfect to perfectly horrible for no reason
However true love is a beautiful thing
Something more than just a meaningless fling
When you discover who you're meant to be with
Everything else just ceases to exist
However fear of rejection can prevent it from being
It can stop you from truly seeing
Yet i speak these words and dont abide
For my fear has hidden my feelings inside
Yet one day i hope and i pray
That i can get the courage to say
You are so amazing and you mean the world to me
The first day i met you i was entranced by your beauty
And then i got to know you better over time
Yet i feel loving you should be a crime
For you are so beautiful and i am not
You are so perfect and i lack a lot
I would hope someday that we could be together
And i hope against hope that day wont wait forever
I love you so much more than words can express
I feel i could not say anything less
I hope one day you can know how i feel
How my love for you is real
But until that day dawns i fear
I shall just push back one more tear
One more tear for loves sake
