Raised in a room with ten other girls. Under the ribbons, behind the curls. Left in the clouds, adults in their room. They had no idea the things we would do. Bears and balloons on a faraway wall. We talked untill midnight of nothing at all. Got by with so much, had so much fun in those days. Even back then we knew we'd part ways. But who'd ever dream we'd be split up like this? So many things I can't help but miss. My scary stories, the "man" at out door, The fights we would get in, always settling scores. The pranks we all thought of, one girl always cried. Never knew which one would bust up each night. We all had that temper, the b1t(he5 from hell, But we still keep the secrets we swore not to tell. And that's why I know we'll always meet again. Always remember we were smarter back then. We started something that will never be through. We'll end up back together in a year or a few.

I really like this poem too. Although the title is creative, I must say I was expecting something else when I read it. However, great poem. Keep up the wonderful writing.

yeah the title is maybe a bit misleading.... but it has it's own little story like a lot of my poems. You prolly don't wan't to hear it but I'm telling it anyway so yeah, anywayz for the longest time my aunt and her four daughters lived with my nanny along with me and my two sisters and five other cousins that belonged to an aunt on my dad's side and four of them were girls also. So there were like eleven girls from ages 1 to 15 running around my nanny's house for like six years or so. Well anyway to get to the point, we all usually slept in this big room painted like the sky with lots of bears holdinng baloons and flying airplanes with two sets of bunk beds and then more indivdual beds spread around the room. And at night we (usually me) would te scary stories and we would all start tripping and imaging someone was going to break in and get us so we would get weapons like coathangers, screwdrivers, butcher knives and even high heels to protect our selves. Amazing how dumb girls can be isn't it?
