The sea is breathing as am I
The love I looked up to most crashes
As do the waves
Yet the sea is breathing, as am I
What the young bud knew as her hero became human
In the spring there was the flower
The flower was new and bright
As each ripple in the sea was white
Love found and lost and found again
As the sea retrieves it’s waves
Her pedals fall
For love for beauty she will again try
This time her pedals were small
Yet the sea is breathing, as am I
Does the ocean have hope that her waves will come back to her each breath
Will my spirit be retrieved with each exhale
Yes because love will never cease
As rain and wind will storm no fail
So forward this flower will try
Because the sea breathes and so must I
