What is death…
Do we sit and decay only to never see a glimpse of light again?
I ponder this question daily
Reaching, grasping, scavenging for some type of answer
A quick relief? Or maybe some sort of confirmation...
An abundance of inquiries gathering in a pile on the chilling tiled floor
What is this and what is the purpose
Do I need to have meaning?
Or maybe that’s just a societal standard
Could death just as well be a socially unacceptable concept
Something that must be negative and sad
Quite an interesting topic indeed
Who’s to say death is a bad thing
What if you’re in an eternal state of emptiness, hatred, and anguish
One might say ending it is an easy relief
