When I met the lady, she had white hair and weight 85 pounds soaking wet.
Now that lady may have been small but she had the strength of any man.
When she walked into a room people turned to see the beautiful lady with the halo over her head. She shined so bright; that in an instant you knew she was a soldier for the Lord.
If she prayed for you, you would be healed.
God had her soul and Odell had her heart. Some say that today her light went out.
Oh no her light just got even brighter. Now she shines on us all.
Watching over us in that night sky. Still Praying for our souls to be His.
I know when my time is here it will be her standing at them pearly gates, saying welcome my child come on in.
Mamma Vaughn you inspire me to be a better person. To treat each other with a kind heart because you never know what rough road they had to walk down.
So I leave you with one thought.
Love is all that really matters, nothing else we do on this earth will win us favor with God.
So love your neighbor as if he were your Brother because he already is.
I Love you Mamma Vaughn for loving me first.
I know you are walking through that garden of lilies with Jesus.
