Alone.... that's a word I've come to know

all too well.

Loneliness... that's a feeling I've come to know

all too well.

I've grown fond of the word alone.

I've grown attached to feeling lonely.

Then tell me why,

Why have I also grown fond of you?

Why have I no longer found comfort

in my loneliness.

You say It's OK

I'm no longer ALONE.

When you're not here

I hate the feeling of being LONELY

You took me away from my comfort

So now you must take responsibility.

For now I can never go back to being alone

So you must always be here beside me....

For now I say goodbye to alone....

Until the day you too, leave me.
