She's hurt inside,
She's been this way for so long
The tears have dried from her eyes
But her skin still weeps crimson tears
Yet she doesn't know what's wrong.
There is no reason she can find
As to why she feels this pain
She tries and tries
And then it all begins to unwind.
The devil payed her a visit at age 9
Filthy lust in his eyes
Yet she was blind
It was the first time they met "only God existed not the devil"
But she was wrong.
He broke her illusion with his thorn like hands
With every touch they pricked her heart.
She was no longer whole but cut in half
His eyes like knives cut through her
And all that remained is the hurt and pain.
And for the rest of her life this memory drove her insane.
