i told you i was sick. you told me to get out of bed.but i told you i can not.the demons inside my head tie me down and wont let me be free.they wont let me hear the chimes of positivity around me because their deafening screams overpower every sound and thought in the room. and it eats you away until you can no longer breathe.no longer function . no longer consciously be there even when you say i am. even when you say just do it.even when you say its all in your head. you're right it is all in my head but that makes it no less terrifying. i try escaping.leaving my body.finding peace.but the people say no. don;t go ,think of all the people who would miss you? but for once.just once i need to think of myself,i need to let go.i need to be free.i am the slingshot being pulled back just to never be let go. i am the victim being shot over and over again just to never die.i am the Saturday night hang over that you wake up with after a night of fun that nobody ever really wants. i am the side effect of your desperation that tells me i'm perfect for a night until you decide that a broken soul can never be beautiful .the taste of your lips linger just long enough for me to feel the loving embrace around my heart and to then have it ripped out by the hands of your lies and thrown on the ground to be stepped on my every other man who follows in your footsteps.
