It haunts me.
The never ending crunch of
the crisp plastic.
Rattling, rattling away
in my ears.
My mind is numb.
It's all taken over me.
Why can't I stop?
Why can't I stop!?
Because this my destiny.
My face. My body. My mind.
I'm shattered.
And as the glass falls and the
red runs.
I grin.
Because I shattered myself before the
world could brake me into a million
pieces.
The ground sparkles red and
yellow.
Maybe I couldn't reach the sky
but I could steal from it.
I rebelled against its never ending
whispers of failure and success
and made the whole world
SHINE.
