I'm the random writer, i write randomly. I Hope you like it:
there's something beneath the surface Of every mans trial and pain It only serves to strengthen Belief it's not in vain.
For man is brief and careless His choices they erupt In ruin, war and hunger That threaten to corrupt.
But underneath the surface A face is clearly seen Reflecting pain and anger Of every man between.
yet man is torn and rended by distrust, fear and strife why cant he see his equal when he's so much alike.
Yet man avoids the truth he hides behind the known For fear of hurt and danger Ignoring what is shown.
Underneath the surface Behind the cruel facade Is hope, and want and friendship Which man himself has barred.
Look beyond, around and inward Any are of service Truth isn't found above But underneath the surface.

My favorite style. Short quatrains, with a natural rhythm and meter. I wrote one of my favorites called "The Grey" using this style.
