the fun we would have
seemed to have gone

should have seen the signs
when i stopped being your hero

should have known that would be your end

threw around words we didnt mean
flew down the stairs
screaming till the door was slammed
saw you run out to the street
stop your buddies car and drove away

two hours latter i get a call
the car was totalled
and you were more than wrecked
at the hospitil you lie
the doctors say they did all they could
it was time for you to rest

now here i am
crying in your room
cuddled in your bed
wishing you were here
to curse me out instead

i will miss you
wish time could stop
when i was your hero and
your only best friend
i wish i had said i loved you
