last night we met for the last time in my dream, no more hate spewed with anger no more words we didn't mean, i sat there with my friends, had some drinks before you came in, we laughed all through the night, pretending it would never end, the door opened and i saw your face, smile so bright it could match the stars out in space, you gave everyone hugs as if to see you were leaving, i couldnt wait to hold you even had some trouble breathing, would i ever see you again, my mind was telling me no, as you walked up to my seat, your body started to glow, was this the girl id fight with everyday and every night, your smile turned to sorrow as you held my arms so tight, you pulled me closer, then kissed me on the cheek, i slowly kissed your lips and your presence felt real weak, your eyes met with the sunrise and i knew this was goodbye, my lips would never say it but my heart had felt you die.
