EQUALITY??
We live in the 21st century that’s what everyone has to say, Each one wants to be equal whether it’s a man, woman or gay.
The women come first in this issue, who demand all types of rights, To get these so called ‘privileges’ they get into all sorts of fights.
They even have a separate compartment in Mumbai’s local trains, Yet they expect a ‘gentleman’ to offer cover when it rains.
They yell at the vegetable vendor for giving some leaflets fewer, And if he denies even the slightest, they make sure he reaches the sewer.
If a man slaps a woman in the open, even though it’s the woman’s blunder, The entire crowd leaps on the man, and he’d be lying wounded under.
Now if it’s the man who is whacked by a woman, even if he did nothing wrong, They blame it all on the man saying, ‘at her, he must’ve hummed a song’
They fire a man in the BEST bus sitting on the reserved ‘ladies’ seat, Not looking if he’s a weak elderly man or if he has a pair of broken feet.
I offered a seat once, to this middle-aged woman, which as I gentleman I thought I must, She sat down, giving me a frown, like her father owned the bus.
In cities these privileges should be stopped, in rural areas though its fine, Before you lose your respect in public and, most importantly, before I lose mine.
No offence to the ‘female’ gender, I wrote this coz I’ve nothing in my head, With all due respect, dear ladies, don’t fire me too for what I said.
