Lost
I am ever so lost in my life and in my friend who is now gone.
Like a puppy trying to find it’s way home on a cold and dark night when it’s owners dropped it off in the rain.
Trying to find my way home in the cold mist of my tears
Yelling up at the night screaming to find my reason I am still here on this earth.
The coldness creeps up my back and I start to shake.
Why is this world so cruel?
I sit by myself in a corner far away from everyone I once knew.
Why is it so hard to understand and the questions you ask yourself?
Am I not really here? Am I just a ghost trying to find who I was?
Is this life I see before me? Is that a really a friend or is it another person out to hurt me?
Please tell me who I am and what I am doing here.
Will I live to see the next day, the next sun rise and sun set.
Or will I die before I wake?
