i tried to write a poem
i tried to act a play
i tried to make it work
but i didnt know what to say
i tried to sing a song
i tried to hum a verse
i tried to do it all for you
but i didnt know the words
i tried to write it down
i tried to sell the book
but no-one took me seriously
no-one would even look
i tried to look at it from your view
i tried to understand
i wondered day and night
but you wouldnt take my hand
i tried to sort my thoughts out
i tried so hard to think
i tried to sip my water
but i found it hard to drink
i wondered why it was so hard
i wondered why it turned stale
but then i realized babe,
you are such a stupid male.
