Feed off of me
To make yourself strong
Tell yourself lies
That you do no wrong
The parasite you are
Never give only take
Beautiful harvests ruined
While in your wake
It’s everyone else’s job
To accommodate your laziness
And clean up the mess
Caused by your craziness
Think we’re Christ
Devoid of sin
Steal the bread from my table
And call yourself my kin
Kill me slowly
With your sharply edged knife
Whisper sweet loving words
As you take away my life
Tell me I am wrong
To want to live
Make waste of everything
I ever had to give
Blame it on the world
That you’re life is such a waste
Never bother to sow the grapes
For a wine you long to taste
Make me go hungry
While your belly is overfilled
You’ve had more than enough
But you hunger still
To smell the scent of the rose
That you did not grow
To expect the fruit of a harvest
That you neither reap nor sow
Spill the blood of innocents
Sacrifice the helpless sheep
Wait until they are dormant
And slay them in their sleep
Yet rationalize to say
That they are at fault in their plight
Rationalize to say
To kill them has been your right
And rationalize to say
That you still did a good deed
Rationalize your selfishness
And rationalize your languid greed
And rationalize yourself to death
As off of these sheep you feed
Not a drop of your own blood spilled
As these poor creatures bleed
They did nothing to deserve this
But say that they earned their death
And laugh in spite, as you make your final slice
And they draw one last dying breath.
