Very nice. I like this line: I build my hopes on every dawn. Lovely and hopeful opening.

Every performance, the curtains are drawn closed, then opened. Every cell feels alive as pressure builds, The set has been ammended, Before we walk out on stage. And then we act, Failing in our attempts, To be so alike Yet So different From what we've been before. This band or chior, What ever it is, Always pretends to be ice, but underneath we are bubbling With excitement and fear. This is life at its best and worst.

She is drawn in by his beauty. A promise to build a bright and happy future. To show her how to feel alive and free. She is open to all possiblitys. Not once does she amend to the pain and sorrow. Thinking it will pass in time due to the possibility of the bright future he promises. But he is a lie, a coward, hiding behind her to sheild the truth. Okay I know thats not that good but I was inspired by these five words to try to write a poem for Amber Frey seeing how I just read her book about the Scott Peterson case.
