Why would he wear a sign of hate? And praise the spawn of sin? Insisting on reminding us Of evil that is man? A crooked cross that killed a race Six million silenced cries A billion "cultured" people That chose to close their eyes Why would etch into his skin So permanent and bold The stick that silenced millions For the whole world to behold? Why would he choose to glorify The gruesome, needless, pain? A twisted, bloody, crooked cross The man must be insane. How can we let him wear the thing? In this developed time Why do we still ignore it? To me it's still a crime.
