hidden secrets
harbored fears and past ghosts-
that haunt this tortured soldier's soul
Pounding away at his hidden heart's door
the anguish locked up: prisoner
Nerves will soon unfold-

Although I understand who this was written about, I think this a quite a beautiful depiticion of all of our lives. We are all soldiers with our daily battles. I'm sure your inspiration would be proud.

Yeah although Jaysie is right........this was written with one particular actual solider in mind............I never looked at it from that perspective..........all of us could be the "soldiers" I mentioned..........good thought.......thanks for making my poem deeper than it actually was!!!!!! Ha ha!!!!!!
