A fly’s last moments
A fly stranded upon his back, Seemingly caught in its own dark trap. Caught in despair, life is so unfair, And yet, why don’t I seem to care?
Waving its arms as I watch and write, Grasping desperately, touching nothing but fright. Pauses between life struggles grow longer. Lying upon its back, beginning to ponder.
What's the point of my life, why am I here? Just so some boy can write of my fear? And with a death movement oh so rare, He finds himself thinking, why don’t I seem to care?

I'm glad to be the first person to tell you this one is great. How on earth did you come up with this? It's awesome. Luv, Elisha

You wanna know how? There was this fly wriggling around on my kitchen floor today and I thought, geez I should kill it and get rid of a fly, then I thought well I am too lazy to reach all the way down there... but it does look like a horrible suffering way to die. Yet it all came down to me not caring that much.
I just left it there to suffer, too lazy to liberate it or kill it. And I for some reason I wrote a poem about it. All in all took me like 3 minutes just writing on a scratch piece of paper while it died.
Writing this, I feel like a really sick kid who enjoys torturing animals. hrm... who knows!

This may sound sick, but I'm really cracking up right now. I do kind of feel bad for the fly though. Luv ya, Elisha
