I'm trying to figure out what type of poem most peopl enjoy. I can write all of them, but i want to know what others enjoy most. Thanks!

while alot of people, myself included, end up writing mostly about things like breaking up with boy/girlfriends and other sad events, I wish I had the need to write a poem everytime there was a sunny day to praise the world.
I just only tend to get that poetic writing feeling if someone dies, not if the world actually is a great place at times. As for reading, I can barely read the sad ones and the happy ones brighten my day.
The funny thing is, in life I really am a pessimist even after all of my trying to be an optismist.

I like the pessimistic type best, I guess because I'm a pessimist myself. Bright poetry is fine, and I like all types, but there are so many more darker aspects of life than lighter ones. And tragedy can be so much more intense than happy endings. So I guess you'd put me in the dark/pessimistic catagory. Luv, Elisha
