FEAR
fear is a trap for your mind
fear will make you freeze where you stand
fear is a maze created by the devil
fear is the maze in which we get caught
fear is just a state of mind
a state of mind that is deafiningly silent
fear prevents you from finding a way out
out of the chaos and darkness of your mind
fear is like a cobra
moving swiftly and silently unseen
attacking its prey with no sign if its coming
it paralyzes its prey with one swift movement
there is no antidote
no quick fix
no way out
no way out of this world of fear....
no way out of this world of pain....
no way out of this world....
but Death

This made me think of "Dune" and the Fear Litany:

"I must not fear, fear is a mind killer
Fear is the tiny death that brings total obliviation (sp?)
I will face my fear.
I will allow my fear to pass through me and beyond.
Then only I will remain."

Or something like that.
