she was there
she always shined
in body and in mind
she was my cuz, sis and best friend
she still is now until the end
we had some times
good and bad
but we would work it out
no matter what the fad
she would speed past
and i would walk fast
trying to keep up
we always had our arguments
but none that ever last
it hurts me so much right now
to know that she is gone
but she is not gone
not for good
she's up in heaven
with her wings and with her hood
looking upon me
pulling strings for me
for my luck and for my glee
she is helping me
to make the most of what should be
shes pulled the strings
for me to get my wings
so i can fly to see the ones i miss so much
she has shown me the dove
which led me to love
this girl i love like ive never loved before
she has whispered in my ear
to follow in my career
and now i have been accepted into a great position
these things have happened
and im not sure why
but now i see
i am scared to die
but i know
that if i go
i will be paired
with the one we lost
not so long ago
Dearest kate
ill just let you know
that when i go
ill look for you
no matter where
no matter when
when its my time
ill find you my friend

for those that dont know kate was a Cousin of mine (well more like a sister) who lived a great life and she was always there for me she recently passed away at the age of 18 and it has been extremely hard to deal with so i thought of writing a poem for her and this is the end product.
