i think that you may love me
this i hope is true
but i know that i must let you
decide what is for you
you must find your own way
through this teary faze
but what i need you to know
is i will always love you
forever and a day

There one thing i must know
are these feelings mutual
or dont you even know
whats her for me to show
is the way i must go
i know these feelings are there
in you
as when we kissed
i felt them floating through you
and i knew it was true
or was it just a clue
i know you have to choose
but if theres one thing i cannot loose
its you

though i am only seventeen
my love for her is pure and clean
i love her though she were my own
these felling i have cannot be thrown
but then and their i try to see
the damage she could do to me
i search for it far and wide
and what i find is divine
she likes me because i am kind
and likes me more
than before
these feelings cannot be cured
as it is not a disease to be loved
but something much more pure
but know i see the damage done
For me it is none
but there is one thing
i cannot see
thats the love thats not for me
the love she has for another
shows me that its not forever
she shows me that she needs the time
to mend her heart, body and mind
though she knows its all well
my feelings are just sitting in a swell
waiting for her to ring my heart bell
once i know she is there
these feelings of mine
i hope we will share
but if we dont
then i still know
that oone day i will see her and show
im still the same boy from the cinema
where i looked in her eyes
and looked deep within her
what i saw was so pure
it made me love her so much more
if she reads this ill be shy
but my love for her will never die

these are the feelings of defeat
the ones you get when you retreat
these strange thoughts im getting here
make me see its only fear
ive been here once
ill come again
but this time i am stronger
and can overcome
these fears
of the past
like a house made of glass
throw a stone
and brake a window
get stronger glass
the same stone is thrown
this time its easier to mend
this is like my heart
its on the bend
my hearts been broken
left on the floor
and i recover and see so much more
its like the glass i see as my past
its been mended
now the shoes on the other foot
i found love, almost true love
and i thought i understood
but for this love these fears come back
and i tell them to get nicked
and give em the flick
as she means too much to me
and now i see these pety fears
once got the better of me
not this time
because if she ever becomes mine
ill show these fears
these beutiful tears
the ones ive cried for love
