Outside, a world that blinds me
Inside, a life I hide
Internal accusations
No one to confide
You're the only reason
I wake up from this dream
How on earth could anyone
Be so fu(k!ng mean
Laughing at the bleeding
As you pull out the knife
Put me in my chains again
Throw away my life
I guess I'll just go back to sleep
No reason I should stay
So sick of all these people
I wish they'd go away
Outside a world that blinds me
Inside a life I hide
Trapped inside and tortured
By my own twisted mind

When the night is almost over, just before the moon goes down
The wings of waking angels echo softly all around
