insanity invades my brain
there's nothing left to say
the past and present leaves me drained
and the future begins today
i wish there was a way i could
tell you to your face
but i know that if i did
you'd turn in my disgrace
i wish i could just talk to you
but i don't have the guts
so i'll just hope you'll someday stop
overriding love with lust
so can i still be beautiful
in your eyes when i'm not there
and if by some bloody miracle
you'll see that i can care
can i be insane
drained
scared
unprepared
disturbed
unturned
self abused
confused
hated
uncreated
alone?
