Sometimes I feel I can't carry the load
that life places upon my shoulders.
From time to time the weight is too heavy
and it feels like a ton of boulders.
My body aches and my legs tremble
as I try to keep pressing on.
But sometimes I feel I can't carry the load
because my strength just seems to be gone.
Finally I fall flat down on my face
thinking I just can't take another step.
Then I hear a soft whisper that says to me;
Child arise! I'm here to help!
