What Can I Say?

Too often I take for granted,
my blessings from above,
and friends that help relentlessly,
what could I be thinking of?

How can I be so nonchalant?
Why is it I can’t here?
It seems that somehow I ignore
the things that are so near.

Albeit I may be busy,
but it wouldn’t hurt to try,
to remember on occasion
someone other than I.

Now it’s not an active process,
of thought that came to be,
yet somehow I loose sight,
when I concentrate on me.

Knowledge and understanding,
have touched me once again,
and I hope my callous ways,
have not caused too much pain.

So in this feeble attempt,
my indifference I now rend!
I hope you can accept,
the apology I send.

I just learned how to modify, what a great option. My work gets modified alot, I can't seem to get it right the first time. But for this one the message is still there, just changed some words and some punctuation. I think it flows better now, and you still need to find two words, remember 'First and Last' (in each stanza)

First I have to figure out how to use this site, I keep ending up on page one and then I have to try to remember where I was. But I think I have the answer to your hidden message, how do I check?

I think it's been on long enough. The first letter of each stanza T H A N K S and the last letter of each stanza F R I E N D.
