“Poppy, I want jink!”
And softly, silently, I smile.
Now little girl, we’ve gone over this before! You should be sleeping now, With simple little dreams, and nothing more.
And yet, each night things remain the same. It seems you always win, Regardless of how I play the game.
I beg and plead, I spank when I dare! But when it comes to closing your eyes, You just don’t seem to care!
Don’t you care?
“Poppy, I want jink!”
And softly, lovingly, I smile.

She's fine. But she doesn't always realize it. Things haven't changed much over the last twenty years.

This may have been last post, right around when Debbie had her first heart attack. Too bad I lost touch.
