The Blue Place

When life gets tough
And problems occur
When I want to cry
Cause lifes a blur

I go to a place
thats far away
Its so peaceful and warm
I wish I could stay

No one else can go there
they dont know the way
Its just a place for me
to escape for a day

I call it the blue place
Cause the sky is always blue
the waterfalls are clean
the flowers are too

Its a beautiful adventure
although its only my mind that can go
people will never understand
After all, how could they know?

Children are welcome there
their hearts are young and true
I wish I could show you the way
But the directions are inside of you

The best time to go
Is when your unsure of all things
Cause youll never believe
all the answers the blue place brings

It can give you advice
about the emotions you feel
Although it can not speak
it seems so very real

This place isnt magic
nor wishes can it grant
but it starts by opening
the petals of lifes plant

So when youve been hurt
and need to get away
close your eyes tight
and let you silent lips pray

but dont ever tell anyone
the secrets you learn
Just tell them of the place
and let them take their turn
