A Poets Clutter
There’s paper on the desk,
And papers on the floor,
Look around a little bit,
I’m sure that you’ll find more!
There’s a pen lost in the corner,
When frustration took its’ hold
And little scraps of nothing,
From an ego much too bold.
There’s a line of nothing here,
And a line of something there,
If you listen with your heart,
There’s poetry in the air.
A simple master of words,
The world is quick to say!
But more a slave to thoughts,
That will not go away.

new to this site and love your poem, spoke volumes to me. my hubby calls me the clutter queen of the clutterbugs and this poems describes me alot. LOL. thans for the enjoyment. ;D

It's refreshing to read things that have meaning, tempo, and rhyme. So much today is simply putting down words. I'm glad I was sent in this direction. I will be visiting the other sites your work is on too. And your site. Your work is simple, yet provoking. Easy to understand, yet enlightening. Let me know when you add new things.
