I kept it all a secret, my mommy never knew. The sick and evil twisted things that I knew how to do. Somebody owed us money, he said we'd make them pay. My young and single mom believed the lie I told that day. She went out before I did, to visit with her friend. My baby pulled in after her, so stupid I got in. We didn't know the woman, she didn't know our names. Didnt pay for what we sold, he doesnt play those games. We switched I got behind the wheel and he pulled out a gun. The mask, the house, a single shot, he only needed one. We got back home so terrified, he got her in the head. I said goodbye and walked inside not knowing mom was dead. My mom was good at secrets too, out habits were the same. It seems we shared a whole lot more than just the same last name. She smoked and sniffed and filled her veins, I had no clue at all. Wondering where on earth she was and then I got the call. Aunt Jenette says Baby Girl, your mom was just found dead. They said it was a drive by, someone shot her in the head.
