Daylight's rays disappear as they meet the dark.
Stillness befalls the air and hushes through the night.
There in the darkened, lonely room,
The two of them unite.
Their minds invade each others thoughts,
And travel towards their souls
Life dances before their very eyes,
As their memories unfold...
They cherish every lasting moment,
For fear that it will end.
As finally they have encountered,
What seems to be their twin.
For hours they enjoy each others souls,
As they share and speak of passions.
Creating a wonderful sense of bliss,
That replaces that which they both miss.
Suddenly, they both grow cold,
For they know the time has come.
Where they must part and feel alone,
Until darkness joins the sun.
