From my porch I watch two children chase each other around a tree. They run in a constant circle, neither trying to trick the other by going a different way. They both run the same slow speed. If they went faster they would slip on the slick grass. They grow tired, and sit down on a low branch of the old tree, the sun beginning to set. Suddenly, one sprinted away from the tree, the house, and his friend, yelling back, "Catch me if you can". His friend watched him run. The setting sun, playing its usual tricks, doubled the length of his shadow. His long black hair reaching back, not wanting to go. He will be back for dinner... shadowless

So unique, were you watching these children? I like the ending, well said!
