It has been eight years now, who would have known.
It seems like just yestarday that you past away.

I didn't understand what happened, or why you had to go.
But God called upon your name, and took you by the hand.
He took you to heaven, to the beautiful land.
I know how much you loved me.

Then on October 28, God took you like the wind.
I don't understand, why you had to go.

Life seems so hard, since you went away.

Without you life just ain't the same.
Although I feel we are far apart,

It's like you are choosing to keep the spirit of your mom alive through you, and because of that, she will be!

I also like how you showed that you didn't understand at 11 and still don't. Your words are so human, thanks for posting this. I hope it acts as a reminder to people to talk to their loved ones while they are here on this earth.
