Cry Out

[TrappedDespair]

I give up hope so I will find,
The peace from pain inside my mind,
This emptiness and hollow dream,
Reflections of my broken scream,
Beaten down to lies untold,
With my innocent mortality I have sold,
The links that tied me once to you,
Insanity has eaten through,
Feel me and this distress inside,
This poison within reside,
The dark the light, life in grey,
Seems so long for better day,
I’ve made no mark for the world to see,
Only to hope they will remember me,
Battle with my views is gone,
I’ve felt this pain in me so long,
I lost to truth this lasting test,
In failure my perceptions rest,
I laugh a silent freeing cry,
The hate I feel makes me die,
I stop at my still descending gasp,
Push heart to chest I feel it clasp,
Oh hark my angels hear me cry out,
Ever echoes feel my shout.
