What Happened?
I’m not sure,
Everyone asks
I tell them I don’t know
Every time I see you,
You look right through me
Was something ever there to begin with?
Yes. No. I still can’t let it go.
I keep trying,
But you’re locked in my heart
You took my breath away with your smile,
You broke my heart with your silence,
I wish you would just talk to me
Just be a friend,
Things have happened
And I needed someone to talk to
That’s when I wish you were still there
I’m done trying to get something back that’s over
But I’m still here for you, always and forever!!!!
