Among all things there is a deeper meaning
A singular tingling elusive feeling.
Beneath all things lies this energy
Sent to relieve the lethargy of dull days gone dreary
It is the sound in the silence and the very silence of the sound
Listen closely, and you can hear it clearly.
It is here on this paper
It is in your speech
It is difficult to find
It is a subtle vapor
It aches in your mind
And drives you mad
It is every thing you ever wanted
And the sorrow for everything you ever had.
It is in your desires, your dreams, your driving fires
It rends, rips, redeems, refreshes, renews, reworks,
And without it we are lost
It is inside of us and drives us
It is not purpose
It is not love
It dwells within us all
And is not from above nor below
Is there no name?
Is there nowhere I can go?
Do you have it?
Can you see it?
I love it.
I hate it.
I fight it
I encourage it
