A poem for her....
Isn't it crazy to think
there's people in this world
who think the way we do?
People who always know
exactly what to say
when we can't find the words
for ourselves
Isn't it funny how
You can find someone
who will laugh at all your jokes
Someone who will always leave the light on
and the door open
for when you're ready to come home.
I've never been big on love,
or romance
but there is something so beautiful
in the fact that, your smile
can make my heart stop.
You swore to me, "I'll always love you,"
even on the days I struggled to love myself
You whispered to me, "I'll never give up on you,"
even when the rest of the world has
You're the only one who's ever meant it.
