The Game
"Look,"
said He,
"The Pawn in the eighth square is about to take the Black Queen."
I looked,
and it was as he said,
The Pawn was there,
The Black Queen was dead.
It's such a funny thing
that a Pawn should take the Queen,
that so small a piece
could take such a mighty being,
topple the crown,
steal the keys to the throne,
take her status,
and, next,
the King for its own.
