Alone in the dark
alone in my mind
I search for reason
that i can never find

silent tears fall
as i hold myself tight
promise never to make a noise
hope it will all be alright

a house full of people
do i want to reach out?
i hold myself tighter
they will never see me pout

a phone full of contacts
a tight group of friends
but i am always alone
will the sadness ever end?

no matter how much i glue
i always come apart
and no one ever hears me
not even the one who has my heart

silent tears fall
as i hold myself tight
all i want is someone to help me
find sleep in the night

Sleepless nights, that haunt my dreams.
Oh fair maiden, why do you weep?
Your sorrow, burns inside.
