long lived regrets
standing in a line
haunting my best moments
creeping like a vine

shadowing my future
living in the dark
stumbling around blindly
two by two to the ark

seeing with my eyes closed
doubting all i do
knowing nothing good will come
the old creates the new

sadness lurks by every corner
enemies with time
with all that ive done wrong
i no my lifes a crime
