Some people say that life goes on, I will find true love again. It is not the end of the world. One day my heart will mend.
Someone will come along, and a new love will grow.
That is what they say, But, what do they know?
How could they know the pain, I feel inside my heart?
They never lost your love, so, who do they think they are?
They never held you, then had to let you go. They are not trying to live without you.
They say that all is fair in love, but for me that is just not true. I feel as if someone took a knife and cut my life in two.
It is better to have loved and lost than to have never loves at all, I am told.
At least, that is what they say. But, what do they know?
They are not trying to go on with life without you.
So, they do not know anything at all!
