A gentle little world spun on it's axis and I, a shifting breeze, an innocuous girl had no alliance. I tip-toed across, face down, to pass the sunny girls and boys to my claim in the shade. Against the cyclone fence I rested on the warm asphalt. In my tiny hand, a finger of stolen chalk with which I drew: a tree, a house and a smiling sun. An image, an idea not unlike myself- hopeful, vulnerable and at the mercy of rain.

Again AJ a beautiful piece! I like the most...
Such depth, truth and a tweek of sad familiarity in those two lines!

Then it dawned on me that there was a link between the picture I drew and myself. We were both hopeful things, but fragile as well.
